WAH-WAH x MARTIN SHARP
Close your eyes and picture 'the sixties'. Whether you know it or not, the chances are that whatever you are imagining has been influenced by the work of Australian artist Martin Sharp. His posters and album covers for the likes of Bob Dylan, Jimi Henrix, and Cream gave visual expression to that decade's sonic experiments and lyrical revolution.
But perhaps Martin Sharp's most lasting contribution was as art editor of Oz Magazine in which he set about creating a visual compliment to the magazine's taboo busting writings on racism, sexuality, drugs and war. To quote Martin, Oz Magazine stood against "ignorance, intolerance and corruption".
Although he passed away in 2013, Martin's work lives on in our collective psychedelic consciousness. WAH-WAH has chosen to celebrate this Australian treasure and international icon with our new WAH-WAH x MARTIN SHARP jumper, inspired by Martin's most ambitious work and one of the monuments of the psychedelic era: Oz Magazine's Magic Theatre issue! Details: 100% superfine merino wool Knitted in China with Australian superfine merino wool.
Care: Turn your wool garment inside out, then hand wash in clean, lukewarm water, approximately 30°C, using a mild and gentle detergent. Allow to soak for a period of 10 minutes before rinsing thoroughly firstly in lukewarm water, then finally in cold water. Dry flat in shade. Do not tumble dry. Warm iron. Dry Cleanable.

WAH-WAH sizing is unisex and the measurements above reflect the garment measurements in cm. We recommend measuring from underarm to underarm of a jumper (sweater) that you like the fit of, and choosing the nearest corresponding size.
