WAH-WAH x KING GIZZARD & THE LIZARD WIZARD

Time flies when you’re making crazy sweaters. Would you believe it’s been 9 years since a baby Wah-Wah released her first collab with King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard? Since then, WAH-WAH has grown operations from her sharehouse bedroom to her garage, and King Gizzard have gone from ‘this really cool band from Melbourne you probably wouldn’t have heard of them’ to global arena psych rock domination. Success is all relative I guess, but it’s nice to know that while our respective brand and band have grown up, our love of raucous knitwear remains!

For our second collaboration, we wanted to create a chunkier knit that would look like the sort of jumper that you might ask your granny to knit in your wildest dreams. After a few back and forths with Jason Galea (the visual mastermind behind the band’s album art, film clips and posters) we came up with a design that’s sure to turn heads AND twist minds.

The band have decided to donate all of their royalties to OUR WATCH, an independent not-for-profit organisation who are a national leader in the primary prevention of violence against women and their children in Australia.
