Three Australian icons for the price of one?! Acclaimed Walmajarri artist John Prince Siddon, the fearsome redback spider... and WAH-WAH!
Siddon's art knows no boundaries: whether drawing inspiration from Australia's unique fauna or channeling the latest news headlines, everything is fodder for his rich imagination.
His work has been variously called psychedelic, gothic, surrealist or, as the Sydney Morning Herald put it: 'frankly bizarre'. Siddons simply describes it as "all mixed up". Whatever the case may be, the resulting work is equal parts beautiful and frightening... much like a redback spider.
*This design is an Ally friendly purchase, as approved by John Prince Siddon himself.
